The UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) has market 2007 as the "Mevlana Year" to celebrate 800th anniversary of the birth of Mevlana Celaleddin-i Belhi-Rumi. This decisions was made because Rumi advocated tolerance, reason and access to knowledge through love. His mystical relationship with Islam produced masterpieces that have marked Islamic culture and religious beliefs beyond the borders of Turkey . His work and thought remain universally relevant today in our world.
We,as the Rotaract Club of BODRUM,
aim to undestand and introduce him and his philosophy for World Peace. We announce A PHOTOGRAPY COMPETITION "TO COMMENT ON MEVLANA AT PRESENT". We expect great attendance from rotaractors all over the world. We're waiting for your supports and interests. We're going to expose photographs in a exhibition show we organized in Bodrum.Most of the photographs will be taken place in this gallery.
CONDITIONS:
The photographs have to be sent by digital platform.
The solutions of the photographs has to be at least 1024x768
They have to be taken in this year.
All of the photos will be present in the exhibition related to Mevlana of our club
The participants can send max. 2 photo.
The last date for sending is November 26th,2007.
